September 10-12, 2021
Each day I am THANKFUL for nights that turned into morning; friends that turned into family; dreams that turned into reality; and likes that turned into love.
Saturday at 3PM: Walk, ride a bicycle or drive your golf cart in our Annual "Cooper's Thanksgiving Day Parade". We want to see all the talents and creativity of our fellow campers. Balloons, costumes, instruments, decorations, and so much more! Pets are welcomed at this event. Masks are required if social distancing can not be maintained.
In remembrance of 9/11: “We first gathered as a stunned and heartbroken camping community the weekend following that fateful day. We gathered again one year later, and then five years, ten, and fifteen. Can you believe it's been twenty years? You are welcome to gather with the wider Lone Oak Community in the upper field at 6:30 p.m. on September 11, 2021. As the sun sets, take time to reflect and remember.” Don Burr
No one can help everyone, but everyone can help someone! Share what you can during our annual food drive. Please bring all non-perishable food items to the office.
