Pool Attendant Job Description

Lone Oak Campsites is a large family campground with many exciting activities available to our guests. We are looking for full-time and part-time team members interested in supervising campers using pool facilities and maintaining the cleanliness of pool facilities. Monitor pool entrances, explain pool rules, and enforce restrictions. Pool maintenance, including vacuuming, cleaning deck, filter baskets, and skimmers. Take chemical readings. Certified Pool Operator certification is a plus but not required.

A friendly disposition • Ability to endure long periods in the sun • Have a swimming ability • Able to enforce pool and spa rules• Reliable transportation • Pass a drug test and background check • Will train

DUTIES

Stay alert at all times • Know and enforce pool/spa rules • Know safety procedures • Test chemical balance in pools and hot tub and adjust accordingly • Follow opening and closing procedures • Knowledge of basic First Aid is helpful.

GENERAL INFORMATION

• We are a seasonal business and are open from April 15 through October 15.

• The wage starts at $15.69 per hour. Wages could be higher depending on skill level and experience.

• Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

• As a minimum age requirement, you must be at least 15 years old to work in the Pool Department.
